• Purpose: Measure traffic to our public website (visits, pages viewed, referring site, country, device type) so we can understand how people find us
• Scope: Our marketing website only. Plausible is not present in the iOS or Android app, and is not used on any logged-in page.
• Data Shared: No cookies, no personal data, and no cross-site or cross-device tracking. Plausible does not store IP addresses; measurements are aggregated and cannot be used to identify or profile an individual visitor.

SMS/Text Messaging

What SMS Data We Collect

When you register for The HOA Wiz, we collect your mobile phone number and your consent to receive SMS messages. We record the following:

• Mobile phone number
• SMS consent status (granted or revoked)
• Date and time consent was provided

How We Use SMS

We use your mobile phone number solely to send one-time verification codes (OTPs) for account authentication and identity verification purposes. SMS messages are sent only when you actively initiate a verification action such as signing up, logging in, or verifying your identity before submitting a vote.

SMS Message Frequency

Message frequency varies. You will typically receive one SMS message per verification request that you initiate. Message and data rates may apply.

No Sharing of Mobile Information

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your mobile phone number or any SMS-related information to third parties or affiliates for promotional or marketing purposes. Your mobile information is used exclusively for delivering verification codes through our SMS service provider (Twilio).

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Opting Out of SMS

You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and no further SMS messages will be sent. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures:

• Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted via HTTPS/TLS
• Encryption at Rest: Database encryption via Supabase
• Authentication: Secure authentication via Supabase Auth
• Payment Security: PCI-compliant via Stripe (we never store full payment card details)
• Access Control: Role-based access control ensuring residents, board members, and vendors only see appropriate data
• Row Level Security (RLS): Multi-tenant database architecture with 113+ security policies

Data Retention

• Active Accounts: Data retained as long as your account is active
• Inactive Accounts: Data retained for 90 days after account deletion request
• Payment Records: Retained for 7 years for tax/legal compliance
• Violation Records: Retained per HOA bylaws and state law

Your Rights

You have the right to:

1. Access: Request a copy of your personal data
2. Correction: Update inaccurate or incomplete data
3. Deletion: Request deletion of your account and data
4. Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
5. Opt-Out: Disable push notifications or email communications
